As 2016 comes to a close, we thought we’d take a few moments to look back on the year as reflected in the Lam Blog. Through our stories, we shared some of our proud moments, like when the company joined the FORTUNE® 500 list and when Lam’s Dr. Rick Gottscho was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. Articles that inspired us included “Caring for Our Communities with Passion and Commitment” and “Heart & Soles 2016: Tackling the School Lunch Nutrition Challenge One Step at a Time.” We also highlighted hot technology topics in our Tech Brief series, such as the role of technology inflections, 3D NAND, FinFETs, and atomic layer etching.
