The semiconductor manufacturing community is gearing up for SEMICON Taiwan, the largest microelectronics event in Taiwan, which is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors from around the world. Taking place September 7-9 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, this year’s event will focus on the future direction of the industry and Taiwan’s role.

Lam President and CEO Martin Anstice will present at the Executive Summit – Grand Opening Keynote Session on the first day of the show. The session will set the conference theme of exploring the future of the global semiconductor industry as well as Taiwan’s competitive advantages. Lam is also proud to be a sponsor of the Leadership Gala Dinner, which gathers over 500 CEOs, high-level executives, and key decision-makers from the entire global supply chain.

At the Advanced Packaging Technology Symposium, Lam will have two talks on this important technology inflection. One presentation will compare different fan out approaches in the pursuit to provide cost-effective, high-density packages. The second talk will focus on electroplating challenges encountered in packaging applications. At the IC Forum on Friday, we will present work on novel low-k spacers that may enable transistor scaling to the 7 nm node and beyond. Lam is pleased to sponsor of both these technical forums. A summary of our participation throughout SEMICON Taiwan is shown below.
