Lam Research joined thousands of manufacturers across the United States in early October for National Manufacturing Day.
To do our part in this national celebration, we got students out of their classrooms and into our facilities. Our campuses in Fremont and Livermore, California, and Tualatin, Oregon, opened their doors to students from neighboring high schools and colleges for an inside look at advanced manufacturing. With Lam representatives providing insights into the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry and hands-on learning with our technologies, we hope to have inspired and energized a new generation of manufacturers.
Since 2014, Lam has participated in National Manufacturing Day, promoting manufacturing careers to science and engineering graduates who will enable the next wave of production.
